Tay Ninh will relocate its new administrative and political center to Duc Hoa - Hau Nghia.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, Le Van Han, has just signed and issued the revised Provincial Planning for the period 2021–2030, with a vision to 2050, aiming to shape a new development space and take advantage of its location bordering Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, and Cambodia.

Tay Ninh province is focusing on investing in key transportation infrastructure projects, shaping a new development space.
Strategically located, Tay Ninh is identified as the western gateway to the Southeast region, playing a crucial role in connecting trade between Southern Vietnam and Cambodia, the Mekong sub-region, and Southeast Asia. The development plan prioritizes people, focusing on improving quality of life, fostering innovation, developing a green and circular economy, and ensuring a balance between growth and environmental protection.
The plan defines the spatial organization according to a multi-center and regional linkage model, comprising 3 socio-economic regions, 3 development centers, 6 economic corridors, and 3 driving axes, while also creating a border belt connecting the areas.
The three development centers include: Tan Ninh - Long Hoa Center, which will be a cultural, tourism, and service center; Tan An - Long An Center, which will develop modern industry and services; and Duc Hoa - Hau Nghia Center, which is envisioned to become the new political and administrative center, as well as the economic, financial, and logistics center of the province.
Three socio-economic zones have been defined to leverage the advantages of each area, including: a zone for industrial, service, and urban development supporting the expansion of Ho Chi Minh City; a zone for border trade, high-tech agriculture, and eco-tourism associated with the western border region; and a zone for renewable energy development and green economy associated with Dau Tieng Lake and the northern part of the province.
In addition, there is a system of six economic corridors linked to important ring roads, expressways, and national highways, creating inter-regional and inter-provincial connectivity axes, linking to major transportation hubs such as Long Thanh International Airport, Cai Mep - Thi Vai Port, and Hiep Phuoc Port. These three driving axes and the border belt contribute to promoting economic development while ensuring national defense and security, and strengthening linkages within and outside the province.
By 2030, Tay Ninh aims to achieve an average annual GRDP growth rate of 10–10.5%, a GRDP per capita of 8,000–8,500 USD, and develop a digital economy accounting for approximately 30% of GRDP. The vision for 2050 is to become a modern, green, and smart industrial and service province, meeting the expectations of its people and the business community.
